FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here, you will find answers to the questions we get most frequently. Please read through this information before you contact us.

What kind of a festival is this?

This is a carefully curated, small scale wellbeing festival focused on embodiment, movement, connection, learning, and personal growth. It takes place in nature and is designed as a safe, grounded, and intentionally held space rather than a party or mainstream festival.

We are inspired by tantric wisdom about the life force and joy that is present in our bodies. You will learn practices that you can bring with you home to practice further. You will have experiences that can inspire and empower you to open up to more of life.

Can I bring my kids?

No. This festival is for adults only. The program includes workshops and experiences that require a focused, uninterrupted environment, and we are not able to accommodate children. 18 years age limit.

Can I bring my dog, and what about my parrot?

No animals are allowed. To ensure everyone’s safety, comfort, and ability to fully participate, we cannot accommodate pets or other animals at the festival. Indal is home to a mouse-hunting cat and chickens, and we need to control the animal population here.

Can I get high?

No. This is not that kind of a festival. We come together to be present and creative. We can party and get high on the power of love, music, summer nights and inspiration. Illegal substances are not allowed, so don't bring anything like that, try ecstatic dancing instead. We ask all participants to arrive with a clear intention to engage responsibly and respectfully in the program and community.

How will I get fed?

Your festival pass includes three nourishing vegan meals per day. Meals are prepared with care to support energy, wellbeing, and a shared communal experience.

Will there be a festival camp?

Yes. There will be a simple, free festival camp available for all participants. It will be on site, on the farm right near the festival area. You do not need to pay anything extra to stay at the festival camp. If you prefer more comfort or privacy, you are also welcome to book accommodation at nearby hotels or guesthouses.

What does a festival pass cost?

Pricing details and ticket options are shared through the official event channels. The festival pass includes full access to the program, use of the festival camp, and all meals. The earlier you buy your ticket, the cheaper it will be for you.

Will I get to participate in everything?

All core workshops, sessions, and experiences are included in your festival pass. Some sessions may have limited capacity for practical reasons, but everyone will have a rich and full program to choose from.

We offer several different workshops that start at the same time, several times during the festival. That way you have the opportunity to tailor your own festival experience depending on your own interests and wishes. We offer this freedom of choice because we want the best for you, and hope you see the generosity in the fact that the offer is broad. So no, you can't participate in everything, but you have the freedom of choice.

In addition to the tantric workshops, we offer bonus moments with music, sauna etc., all of which are planned to give you good sensory experiences.

We recommend taking breaks and enjoy what you choose to participate in fully, rather than being caught up in “the fear of missing out”. This kind of experiences take energy, make sure you take brakes, sleep and eat well in between.

Is this a festival for sex, drugs and rock’n’roll?

No. This festival is about conscious connection, wellbeing, and personal exploration. While the atmosphere is open and expressive, it is rooted in respect, safety, and intentional experience rather than excess or party culture.

Is it safe?

Safety is a core priority for us, and something we create together. The festival is intentionally small, with a maximum of 65 participants, clear agreements, experienced facilitators, and a strong emphasis on care, consent, and mutual respect. You will always be in charge of making the choice of what to participate in, this is your choice and your own responsibility. Being able to feel into whether you feel a full bodied yes or a no, is an important life skill and fundamental for creating your own experience the way you want it.

Who will be here?

The festival brings together adults from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in embodiment, wellbeing, growth, and meaningful connection. It is a conscious, respectful community rather than a general festival crowd. While we can’t know in advance, our prediction is that the crowd will consist of women who have got a spark in their eyes and are interesting.

What will the weather be like?

The festival takes place outdoors in nature. Weather during the Norwegian summer can vary between needing a bikini and needing woolen sweater and rain boots, so we recommend packing layers and rain protection to stay comfortable. We will send out a suggested packing list to our participants in advance.

How big will the festival be?

The festival is limited to a maximum of 65 participants. This ensures an intimate atmosphere, high quality facilitation, and a strong sense of community.

How do I sign up?

You sign up by purchasing a festival pass through the official event page. Once registered, you will receive practical information to help you prepare for your stay.

How do I travel here?

The location is reachable by car and public transport as far as the last kilometer, and we encourage car sharing where possible.

Gjøvik is located centrally in Eastern Norway, about 130 km north of Oslo. Trains and buses travel between Oslo and Gjøvik (on the west side of Mjøsa) about every two hours and Moelv (on the east side of Mjøsa) about every hour. Both Moelv and Gjøvik are about 15 minutes away by car, so both are equally convenient. It is also possible to take a bus to Redalen.

The trip can be planned here for both train and bus

https://entur.no/

If you arrive by plane to Oslo Gardermoen, we recommend taking the train to Moelv and bus (which will be cheaper) or taxi from here.

The bus stop right by the farm is called Indal. During the summer holidays there are few departures here. The nearest bus stop is Redalen, one kilometer from the farm, but when planning your trip you can write Indal as the destination in Entur.no, and you will get a full description.

Where can I sleep?

The easiest form of accommodation this year is at our own festival camp. Bring a tent and what you need to be comfortable. You can stay for free in the festival camp, or choose to book nearby hotels, cabins, or other accommodations according to your preference.

Choose your own comfort based on your needs. We recommend booking early directly with the place you want to stay, because this is high season in a popular area.

Within walking distance from the farm (1 kilometer away), there is Sveastranda camping which has cabins and tent spaces, and Stokke nedre, which is a farm that rents out rooms and cabins. NB: steep hill to walk up to the farm, that's what gives us the view of Mjøsa

Suggestions in Gjøvik, 15 minutes drive away:

For the practical: Hovdetun vandrehjem

If you prefer more luxury: Strand hotel or Grand hotel

There are also several airbnb options in Gjøvik and in Moelv.
